We are holding a Public Meeting on Tuesday 16th April at 7.30pm at St. Mary’s church in the Old Town to run through the latest on the emerging Town Council’s bad planning policy for the town, the “Neighbourhood Plan”.
There will be a town Referendum on the bad plan in due course so please come to the meeting to find out why it is so bad and why you should vote no in the Referendum when it happens. A no vote will stop the bad plan.
We are not allowed to put up our usual roadside notice boards advertising the Public Meeting, even though we and many other organisations have done so for decades. So we need your help to publicise this. We want everyone in the town to know what is going on. Please email thebecsoc@gmail.com if you can deliver our leaflets publicising the meeting to your road or if you can put up one of our signs in your front garden.
